The new show at the White Lotus Gallery in downtown Eugene offers a glimpse into the fastidious talent of many Asian artists, who are known for their skill in creating incredibly detailed art in very small sizes.

The exhibit, Small Treasures: Petite Works of Art from Asia, includes a variety of artistic mediums, including woodblock prints, mezzotints, etchings, gouache, oil paintings, and silkscreen.

The prints and paintings are part of the gallery’s collection and include works from the 19th century to the present. The artists represented in the show are internationally known, with other examples of their work found in collections of galleries and museums such as the British Museum, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Museum of Modern Art, in addition to private collections worldwide.
