What to see Where
#instaballet (Plaza, Farmers Market Pavillion Plaza, 85 E. Eighth Ave.) — Professional dancers choreograph a new dance in real time, using suggestions from the audience; all ages welcome, no dance experience required. The new dance will be performed at 8 p.m.
Allies, LLC (200 E. 11th Ave., Suite 130) — Featuring all-original artwork, created at Allies by member artists. Proceeds from sold works benefits the Allies Art Fund.
Art with Alejandro (5th Street Market Alley, Suite 104) — New work by Alejandro Sarmiento featuring Energy Body & The 3 Chambers plus colorful landscapes, masterpiece-inspired paintings, and whimsical studio creations.
Bree’s Way Gift Shop (1231 Alder St.) — Nature-inspired watercolor paintings by Laura Robson, plus hand-crafted metal earrings and copper cutlery.
Broadway Commerce Center (44 W. Broadway) Features Three Visions of Nature, a collaborative exhibition showcasing Deb Babcock’s watercolor paintings and prints, Barbara Herman’s porcelain tiles, and Meg Littler’s oil collages all inspired by natural forms and imagery. Live music by Apis Mellifera, a musical pollinator, with whimsical lyrics and lilting melodies that capture the imagination.
Urban Canvas Murals — The City of Eugene’s local mural program presents:
- WJ Dog Park (between 5th & 6th near Washington) – Jump to the Moon, murals by Esteban Camacho Steffensen celebrating dog and human relationships.
- 941 Willamette Alley – Radically Radiant by Wayde Love
- 957 Willamette Alley – Nature’s Child by Mural Mice Universal
Flux Crystals (280 W. Broadway — The Heart of Summer, featuring art by Gloria Udosenata, Anna Bousquet, and Heather Sterling-Minder, featuring paintings and drawings with themes of guardianship, nature, and reflection.
High Street Tonics (267 W. 8th Ave.) — Art by Ho-Chunk Nation member Raoul Dittmer’s, creator of contemporary Indigenous artwork and also co-founder of the Burial Ground Society, an intertribal collective of artists, musicians, and creatives that stand for social justice, indigenous rights and the protection of sacred lands.
Karin Clarke Gallery (760 Willamette St) — Featuring The Living Landscape: Bets Cole’s Oregon through July 11, with more than 40 new paintings and drawings exploring the beauty and diversity of the Oregon landscape.
Moon Maiden Tattoo (275 W. 8th Ave.) — Works by mixed-media Oksana Kotok, exploring new mediums and skills as a form of expression and play.
New Zone Gallery (110 E. 11th Ave.) — Eclectic mix of contemporary and traditional art created by New Zone members, plus three special exhibits during the month of July:
- Sarjé Haynes, Shift Happens — I used to seek change. Now it seeks me, dedicated to threshold moments in life, each piece imperfectly mirrors another in the series, reflecting how one decision can completely change an outcome.
- Corla Bertrand, Soul Stirrings: A Cauldron of Magic and Revelation, a collage presentation bridging tangible reality and the ethereal landscape of the subconscious mind, creating emotional weight and giving form to the artist’s nightly dreams and openness to divine revelation.
- In the Klausmeier Room: Alyssa Cody and Kathryn Veiga, Welcome Home- Meet Me in the Underbelly, an exhibit of ceremonies featuring acrylic, pressed flowers, and other objects that explore the trickster archetype, processing grief, and celebrating life.
One Wall Gallery at Epic Seconds (30 E. 11th Ave.) — Remember/Recollect, featuring new work by Emily Hildebrand and Terry Waldron, emerging from places of memory via Hildebrand’s day glow color and pattern pieces dissolving into layered opacity and Waldron’s unworldly animals creating beauty from unknown worldly weights.

Work by A. Leonard, including this one, Common Place, is on exhibit at PLAY.
PLAY (232 W. 5th Ave.) — Common Place, new original art by A. Leonard, inspired by inner and outer landscapes, this show features representational and abstract works in fiber and watercolor.
Starlight Lounge (830 Olive St.) — Collection of paintings dubbed Garden of Ladies, and centering on SA trauma and gender issues, by an artist self-described as “The Nearly Normal” reflecting different times, emotions, and aspects of life.
The Community Apothecary (271 W. 8th Ave.) — Abstracts in bold acrylic colors and textures by self-taught artist Tammie Albert.
