The Oregon Arts Commission and Oregon Cultural Trust here at home and the national Americans For The Arts group want to know how the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak is affecting or will affect your creative activities and your financial bottom line.

Following is a letter from Brian Rogers, executive director of the Oregon Arts Commission and Oregon Cultural Trust. He’s asking for a couple of things:

1) Your response to the Americans for the Arts (AFTA)  link to national survey;

2) Your response to an additional survey from the (Oregon) Regional Arts and Cultural Council link to Oregon survey.

The data you provide will help secure both federal and state relief funds to help Oregon artists and the larger arts community.

AFTA will be requesting a portion of a $4 billion federal aid package to support nonnprofit arts and culture organizations and programs. Information specific to Oregon will be used by the Cultural Advocacy Coalition to seek state relief.

For more information, Brian Rogers can be reached at 503-986-0087 (office) or 971-209-5385 (cellphone)

Please share this post with friends and colleagues in the arts world to be sure these funding councils get all the information they need to advocate for you.
