The deadline is 5 p.m. on Oct. 15, 2025, to apply for cultural opportunity grants funded by the Oregon Cultural Trust and administered in Lane County by the LCCC — Lane County Cultural Coalition — in conjunction with the Lane Arts Council.

As described by the LCCC, the purpose of the grant program is several-fold:

  • Protect and stabilize cultural resources, creating a solid foundation for the future.
  • Expand public awareness and improving the quality of arts, humanities, and heritage.
  • Increase access to and use of culture in Oregon.
  • Ensure that Oregon-based cultural resources are strong and dynamic contributors to quality of life in Oregon’s communities.

Successful grants will be awarded, up to $2,500, for projects that will take place during 2026, open to “individuals, groups, organizations, educational institutions, public organizations, and for-profit and non-profit businesses.”

Applications for 2026 projects must be received by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025, by the Lane County Cultural Coalition. For more informatioin about guidelines as well as access to grant applicaitions, go online to laneculture.net
