When: 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 5 (doors open at 7:00 p.m.)

Where: W.O.W. Hall, 291 West 8th Ave, Eugene

Details: Those lovable post-punkers THE MISSION (a.k.a. The Mission UK) are playing Eugene’s W.O.W. Hall. Considered by UK alt-rock tome The Quietus as “the best live band on the planet,” The Mission have gotten the old crew back together and are playing a bunch of dates before they hit LA’s Cruel World festival (where they play alongside Duran Duran, Blondie, Interpol, etc.), and thankfully Eugene is one of the dates!
Original band members Wayne Hussey (vocals, guitar), Craig Adams (bass) and Simon Hinkler (guitarist) with Alex Baum (drums) will be playing the songs from their catalog that made them mainstays and headlining artists for nearly four decades. Playing songs like “Butterfly On a Wheel,” “Wasteland,” and “Tower of Strength” amongst many others, it’s no secret why they’re audience favorites.
Cost: $35 Advance, $45 Day of Show (all ages)
