Details: Catch New Orleans-bred, Detroit-based singer-songwriter Odie Leigh, as part of her extensive North American tour celebrating her infectious debut album Carrier Pigeon, released earlier this summer. The LP is a tender, vulnerable and fun snapshot of the euphoric and terrifying tumble that is falling in love…or maybe just a passing crush, and was lauded by the New York Times and NPR’s Ann Powers. August was a busy month for her: she played festival sets at Hinterland Music Festival and Outside Lands Festival, and the UK’s End of the Road Festival, among others.
