Where: Very Little Theatre, 2350 Hilyard Street, Eugene
Details: In the Education of X, Peter Almeida provides a musical telling of the story of a Catholic boy who secretly navigates around his attraction to other boys and men, but when he’s finally ready to fully embrace his sexuality, his life takes a turn that prevents him from coming out for several more years.
Confessions of an Aging Twink, by Pippin (also known as Daniel Borson),
chronicles one gay man’s life-long journey of sexual self-discovery, told through humorous (and sometimes raunchy) Broadway parody songs and unabashed stories from the author’s life growing up in Beverly Hills, coming out in pre-AIDS West Hollywood, and eventually becoming “Pippin” – a queer burlesque performer in Eugene, Oregon.
