Deadline to Submit: Aug. 9, 2024

Details: Work must be original and must focus on the Mexican Day of the Dead, which blends the ancient harvest rituals of the Aztec god of death and the Roman Catholic holidays of All Saints and All Souls Days. All artists, working in all mediums, are eligible. Up to 5 pieces may be submitted for consideration. All entries are due, online or postmarked by Friday, Aug, 9, 2024, and submitting artists will be notified on Aug. 23, 2024, of the status of their applications.

Dates of show: Oct. 11 through Nov. 2, 2024, at the Maude Kerns Art Center, 1910 E. 15th Ave. in Eugene.

How to apply: Applications may be made online or with a paper application. For mail or in-person entry, include a flash drive with jpeg images, a completed application, a résumé, artist’s statement, and a $20 submission fee.
