Movement for Memory: A Dance Class For Your Brain
This is a low-intensity, interactive, free movement lesson for all people, informed by the DanceAbility Method. Jana Meszaros, Master DanceAbility Teacher, guides the group through a series of simple activities that support the brain-body connection, encouraging dancers to consider movement as a simple practice for clarity of mind. Rich Glauber’s lively music accompanies the 35-minute class, and participants are welcome to stick around and dance to his dynamic and classic repertoire. Brought to you by DanceAbility International, with support from the City of Eugene Cultural Services. Indoor, air-conditioned space graciously sponsored by HiFi Music Hall.
