In addition to the WhitPrint reverse auction going on at the Maude Kerns Art Center through September, the center also has another annual exhibit on the walls, the annual (Eugene) Mayor’s Teen Art Show.

This year’s winners in the juried show were chosen by art educator Sara S. Spahn; Troy Sproul, a previous “Best of Show” winner; and artist and art educator David Placencia.

Work by 41 teen artists is on display, created in an eclectic array of mediums. An awards ceremony took place on Sept. 6 to announce the winners. Eugene Mayor Lucy Vinis presented the Mayor’s Choice Award winners for two- and three-dimensional works. Additional awards, including Best of Show, three Juror’s Choice Awards, and the Maude Kerns Art Center Award also were announced.
