Employment Opportunities with Lane Arts Council
Lane Arts Council is seeking applicants for open positions: Equity and Access Program Coordinator, Arts Education Assistant, and Teaching Artists.
Eugene, OR–Applications are now being accepted for two part-time positions on the Lane Arts Council leadership team as well as contracted Teaching Artist positions. Application review for Equity and Access Program Coordinator and Arts Education Assistant will begin on February 28th, 2022, and positions will remain open until filled. Applications for Teaching Artists are reviewed on a rolling basis.
Applicants interested in both the Equity & Access Program Coordinator and Arts Education Assistant positions are highly encouraged to submit for each position. These positions can be combined into one full-time salaried position for the right candidate.
Equity and Access Program Coordinator
The Equity and Access Program Coordinator will lead and support Lane Arts Council’s community arts programs that are centered around equity and access to the arts including Fiesta Cultural, Arts & Culture Roundtables, Professional Development for Artists and Arts Organizations, Community Arts Grants and Artist Grants. Part-time (20 hrs/wk), $17-$18/hr, paid vacation, holidays, health and dental benefits, and retirement contributions after three years of employment.

Arts Education Assistant
The Arts Education Assistant will support administrative tasks and communication efforts for Lane Arts Council’s arts education programs serving schools and communities throughout Lane County. This includes supporting In-School Artist Residencies, Design Arts Apprenticeships, Performance Assemblies, Summer Camps, and Educator Professional Development Workshops. Part-time (20 hrs/wk, $15-17/hr, paid vacation, holidays, health and dental benefits, and retirement contributions after three years of employment.

Contracted Teaching Artists
Lane Arts Council is seeking skilled artists, creatives, and performers passionate about youth development, arts education, and inspiring creativity to provide artist residencies in schools and communities throughout Lane County. Paid contracted Teaching Artist positions are open to artists across Lane County and beyond. All artists including visual, literary, performing, and media artists are all encouraged to apply. Applications will be reviewed as they are received.
