Announcing Open Auditions for Oregon Contemporary Theatre’s 2021/2022 Season
When: Auditions are by appointment and will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 14, and at 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 16. To schedule an audition, register online at octheatre.org/audition.
Who: Roles are available for actors age 17 years and older. Artists of all ethnicities, genders, identities and abilities are encouraged to audition.
What: Roles will be available for actors in five plays spanning multiple genres.
Audition details:
- Artists must register at octheatre.org/audition, including uploading a headshot or any recent photo clearly showing the actor’s face, as well as a resume or description of theater experience/training.
- Actors should prepare a 1-minute, contemporary monologue and be prepared to tell a joke.
- Callbacks for individual productions are held on a show-by-show basis throughout the year.
- Actors who have appeared in previous OCT productions (not including NW10) need not participate in the general audition.
- Alternative audition times will be offered for interested actors who cannot make the scheduled auditions.
