Yes, that’s right, Pegasus Playhouse is going to do Sleeping Groovy, a Swinging ’60s version of the classic Grimm’s fairy tale known as Sleeping Beauty.
And to do that, there have to be auditions, so here are the details:
Auditions for Sleeping Groovy at Pegasus Playhouse
When: Noon on Saturday, Nov. 25 and/or Sunday, Nov. 26
Where: Pegasus Playhouse, 402 Main St., Springfield
Who: Performers ages 8-18 years
How: Sing a song (either bring a soundtrack or sing a cappella, meaning without accompaniment), learn a dance, and read from the script. Callbacks will happen a week later.
Note from founder/director Scott Frazier-Maskiell: “This will be a challenging show, but super fun. There will be a modest tuition for cast members to cover sets, costumes, and rent. We are a fast-growing company, so find out what it is to be a Peggle! Oh, and cupcakes for all!”
