Here’s a chance to “rehome” no-longer-displayed art, help the Maude Kerns Art Center, and get a tax deduction for 2023

Here’s the deal, direct from the Maude Kerns Art Center:

The Art Center is currently accepting donations for Marvelous Maude’s Art Rescue Sale, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 7-8, 2023. This is a perfect opportunity to find new homes for the well-loved art pieces and unique collectibles you no longer display or feel you need. Help support the Art Center by donating those once-treasured items and we will match them with a new owner during our marvelous weekend sale.

We are taking donations of drawings, paintings, sculpture, jewelry, collectibles, posters, textiles, and artsy curiosities. Donations may be dropped off during regular business hours. The Art Center is open Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and on Saturdays, from noon to 4 p.m. when exhibits are on display.

Your donation is tax deductible under federal guidelines for 501(c)(3) charitable organizations.
