Details: Johnny Cash. You can’t read his name without having an opinion, a memory, a favorite song. The Man in Black is one of the best-selling music artists of all time, having sold over ninety million records worldwide (records are round things made from vinyl). His career spanned decades, genres and attracted fans of all ages all over the world. He was larger than life, and his life was an American story, filled with love, remorse, faith, redemption, and above all a singular voice and a style of music all his own.

RING OF FIRE, an ensemble musical opening at Actors Cabaret is an epic celebration of this rightfully celebrated artist. When we originally produced this musical in 2008, we wondered if anyone would be interested in a musical based on a country artist. The show sold out, and we were all reminded of the power of one person’s creativity and the impact a single voice can have on the world. Sure, there are other things you can do, but honestly, make some time for RING OF FIRE. Go ahead, join us as we “Walk The Line”, get the “Folsom Prison Blues”, reminisce when “Daddy Sang Bass” and remember “A Boy Named Sue”. After spending some time with Actors Cabaret at RING OF FIRE, you can be sure of one thing…”I’ve Been Everywhere”…

Cost: $21.00 – $64.00
