Details: The Shelton McMurphey Johnson House and The Jazz Station are partnering in a new event, Jazz Thru Eugene, a progressive dinner. Proceeds will be split between the two non-profit organizations. Guests will be treated to a solo performance by bassist Eric Richardson while enjoying appetizers and wine from Sarver Wineries at the Shelton McMurphey Johnson House. Guests will then be transported to The Davis Restaurant for dinner while listening to sensational Eugene Pianist, Abe Luedtke. The final stop at Jazz Station will feature desserts by Noisette and Portland’s First Lady of Blues, LaRhonda Steele. Guests will have a choice of four different dinners at Davis, including a vegetarian option. Transportation by Oregon Taxi is sponsored by Big Al Suklje’s State Farm Insurance. This event will be the first collaborative project between Shelton McMurphey Johnson House and The Jazz Station.”
The Progression:
4:00 p.m. to 4:20 p.m.: Park and Ride at Broadway Place North or South. Oregon Taxi transportation.
4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m.: Sarver Wine & Appetizers with Eric Richardson on Bass at Shelton McMurphey Johnson House.
5:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Oregon Taxi transportation to Davis Restaurant.
5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.: Dinner at The Davis Restaurant with Abe Luedtke on piano.
7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.: LaRhonda Steele at the Jazz Station with Dessert by Noisette and wine by Sarver Winery.
