When: Friday, October 10 (artist reception & 2nd Friday Art Walk); Wednesday, October 1 – Friday, October 31 (exhibit)

Where: Black Forest Tattoo, 149 5th St., Springfield, OR

Details: Discover the provocative and playful world of Don Hudgins in his latest exhibition, Hiding In Plain Sight. Hosted at Black Forest Tattoo, this show features a powerful mix of recent and historic works that blend traditional imagery with sharp social commentary.

Hudgins’ bold printmaking style—akin to classic woodcuts—uses carved blocks, layered inks, and expressive acrylics. His recurring characters (yes, even his dog Anna) carry messages that range from whimsical to politically charged.

“The rabbit isn’t just a rabbit. He oversees our world, keeping an eye on the behaviors of humans.” — Don Hudgins
