Deadline is January 15 for Chamber Music Amici’s 2021 Art Contest
When: Accepting submissions through Friday, Jan. 15
Where: Emerald Art Center, 500 Main Street, Springfield
Details: Chamber Music Amici requests submissions from artists of Lane County for the 12th Amici Art Contest. Submit through January 15th for the chance to win cash prizes and appear on Amici’s promotional materials, posters, programs.
Six awards: Youth (under 18 years of age), one winner; Open (over 18 years of age), four winners; and People’s Choice, one winner.
“The Youth and Open categories winners will be announced early February 2021, and the People’s Choice Award winner will be announced at the end of February after a month-long display at Emerald Art Center in Springfield. The five winners in the Youth and Open categories receive a cash prize each of $200, and the People’s Choice Award winner, who can also be a category winner, receives a cash prize of $100.”
Finalists notified and framed artwork due by Tuesday, January 26. Artwork will be on display at Emerald Art Center through February, and at Cascade Manor Retirement & Assisted Living Center in March and April.
