Registration is open for several summer 2024 camps that Cottage Theatre will hold for youthful performers ages 4 years through 14 years, and registration is open now.
Here’s a rundown of the age-specific camp offerings:
June 24-28: SKIT Camp, for ages 6-8 years, 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with informal performance for family and friends of the students on the last day.
July 8-19: SHOWSTOPPERS Camp, for ages 12-14 years, will culminate in two public performances on July 19 and 20. The performers will present an original showcase featuring dances, scenes, and music inspired by the 1960s.
July 29-August 2: PRESCHOOL Playshop, for children 4-5 years, 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., with a performance for parents on the last day.
Aug. 12-16: S.P.A.R.K., for ages 9-11 years, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, with an informal showcase performance for families and friends at the end of the camp.
Class sizes are small, and some partial tuition scholarships are available to assist families with financial needs.
(In addition to summer programs, Cottage Theatre offers after-school programs for kids ages 6-17 years during the school year.)
