By Randi Bjornstad
Vocalist Siri Vik takes a turn this year as artistic director of The Shedd Institute’s Christmas concert, I Wonder as I Wander.
“I am truly honored to stand in for my colleague and friend, Shirley Andress,” Vik said in the announcing the show. “I am so delighted to partner with long-time Christmas music director Vicki Brabham leading our veteran members of The Emerald City Jazz Kings, as well as favorite Shedd vocalists Bill Hulings, Dylan Stasack, and Vanessa Greenway.”
Having been part of the production for the past four years, “I know how much care goes into making each a fun, warm and entertaining evening that many of you have come to regard as a holiday tradition for yourselves and your families.”
Vik will put something of her personal stamp on this year’s concert, with “carols and sounds from around the world, or from long ago, songs that are close to me personally, and that have long enchanted me with the magic and mystery of the season,” she said.
