Details: “Advanced Playwriting” with Paul Calandrino. Enrollment by application only; class will be limited to 8 students. ***Deadline for application extended to Friday, January 18. This workshop focuses on writing and workshopping long-form dramatic works and is open to playwrights with significant writing experience. You need not have taken a workshop led by Paul previously, but some writing group experience is desirable. Playwrights will be challenged to develop new work, present that work for critique by fellow playwrights, read published plays that have relevance to your own work, and write at least one critical paper on a formal element of dramatic writing pertinent to their own writing.
