News from the Maude Kerns Art Center
Because of the continuing coronavirus pandemic, the Maude Kerns Art Center did not hold its most important fundraiser of the year — the Art and the Vineyard Festival — over the Fourth of July weekend in 2021.
As an alternative, the art center will have an Art & Wine Fundraiser — dubbed I HEART Maude — from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2, outdoors at the center at 1910 E. 15th Ave. in Eugene.
The fundraiser will feature two- and three-dimensional artwork by more than 50 local artists, and 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale of the art will be used to support the Maude Kerns Art Center’s exhibit and education programs.
There will be complimentary wine donated by RainSong Vineyard, along with pre-packaged snacks plus a wine raffle of vintages donated by local and regional vineyards.
All guidelines set forth by the Oregon Health Authority will be observed.
